I'm not sure why the colors would change. Did you run a different (earlier?) version of Sound Byte and then go back to the later version? On my laptop, I have no issues. Sound byte recognizes the nanopad and I can go about assigning it as I please. On my PC, however, I have an an M-Audio Delta 2496 sound card which is equipped with midi ins and outs. Sound byte always selects the 2496 as its midi input device instead of the nanopad, preventing me from using the nanopad with it. Is there a way for me to select which device to use with sound byte? I'm running Windows 7. Two restrictions: It only works on the regular and pro versions (not lite), and you can't go between Mac and Windows, both computers must be the same platform. (You probably can't go between PPC and Intel Macs as well)

Beta version 4.1.0b1 contains the archiving feature, which can be downloaded from this page if you're daring :-)

However, for some reason, this functionality has stopped working.

Now when I click on the file, it just pauses the recording.


I thought it might be because I turned on the "Click on playing cart pauses playback" However, I've tried disabling that feature and even restarting the software and no matter what I do, I'm no longer able to use the progress bar to change position.

How do other programs get around this? PodProducer, Ubercaster, etc all have the ability to turn on "Looping' and it plays it as continuous audio. I don't mean to be argumentative, and I'm very thankful to know that you respond to support questions for your product, but it does seem that the should be called a "repeat" feature and not a "loop" feature.

Is there a way to make this a feature in the future?

I have a few small audio files that I play as a loop. In other software solutions, these loop to sound like and ongoing song over and over again.

However, with SoundByte, there is about a one second pause before it starts over at the beginning.
